As a regional centre in Nhulunbuy servicing the greater Arnhem land region the Room to Breathe program is very significant for increasing Indigenous accommodation.

Why can’t we have a manufacturing base in Nhulunbuy that will provide a modular home or bedroom fully equipped ready to go to be dropped on site at any particular location, providing the ground works are done at that location.

This would enable workers throughout the wet season to construct these modular accommodation units on site in the region.

This would speed up production and delivery and ease overcrowding and also cut cost for government spending efforts and deliver significant outcomes quickly.
